Drain unblocking
Available 24/7. We clear blocked drains, sinks, toilets and gullies on the first visit in the vast majority of cases.
Find out moreA drainage map records the route of every run we can access, the invert levels, the pipe sizes and where each connection goes. That is the drawing planning, building control and water companies expect to see with an extension, a loft conversion or a new build.
Doing it before you apply is cheaper than discovering a public sewer under the proposed kitchen, or a private run that has to be diverted after the foundations are in. We combine sonde locating with a CCTV survey so the plan is based on what is actually there, not on an old drawing that may be wrong.

Based across Hertfordshire, so we are not travelling in from another county.
A real person answers the phone at three in the morning, not an answerphone.
Fixed, transparent pricing agreed with you before any work starts.
Most of our work comes from recommendations and repeat customers.
Specialists in the pitch fibre and clay runs common in Hertfordshire properties.
CCTV surveys and no-dig repairs available on the same visit.
Runs plotted against the building, with chambers, gullies and connections marked.
We do not guess a connection. If we cannot see it, we say so rather than inventing it.
Depths that an architect or structural engineer can design to, not a sketch on the back of a van ticket.
The same visit can include the CCTV survey a water company wants for a build-over agreement.
If the map reveals a cracked or undersized run, we quote the repair rather than leaving you to find out later.
Most houses in Hertfordshire can be mapped in a morning. Larger sites are quoted separately.
A map before you apply is cheaper than a surprise under the foundations. We can usually attend within a few days.
Great service and a great team of engineers. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. Work carried out to a high standard and the call-out was within the required time.
Brilliant service, they helped unblock my drain really quickly. Would definitely recommend!
Turned up when they said they would, told me the price up front, and cleared a blockage two other firms had failed on.

If you are building near a public sewer you will usually need a build-over agreement, which starts with a survey and a plan. Even on a private run, knowing the invert levels stops the architect guessing.
A survey shows the condition of the pipe. Mapping shows where it goes, how deep it is and what connects to it. We often do both on the same visit because the camera is already in the run.
Yes. The point of the visit is a plan they can drop into their drawings, not a verbal description of where we think the pipe runs.
We map the runs, invert levels and connections and hand you a drawing your architect or building control can use.
